Indications

• Treatment of the following infections when owing to sensitive organisms
  
  
• Treatment and prevention of Pneumocystis jiroveci (P. carinii) pneumonitis
  
  
• Treatment and prophylaxis of toxoplasmosis
  
  
• Treatment of nocardiosis
  
  
• Acute uncomplicated urinary tract infection
  
  
• Acute otitis media
  
  
• Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
