Since we are based in the UK, the main focus is to build a strong business in the UK by expanding the Intellectual Property. Medreich started its business in the UK as a contract manufacturer in 1999. As time has gone on, Medreich has bought licences, and even filed its own dossiers in the UK. Now we have over thirty licenses, which are being actively used to sell Medreich products in the UK, either in our own livery or in the livery of some of the key leading generic distributors in the market. The business is growing and as a result the regulatory team is expanding to manage the licence base.
One of the key platforms for future growth will come from the in-house ability to file dossiers. Where Medreich sees niche opportunities, dossiers are under development with a view to offer something extra to key customers in the market going forward. At least ten R and D projects are currently underway for the UK market alone. The dossiers delivered now will be fast to register as they will be current state of the art in terms of ready to file applications.
